The Arty Rome : Travel Pic

Art works at Piazza Navona

Planning a Roman Holiday? And have already included The Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps along with a day tour to Vatican? Great! Here's my 2 cents to include the city's life and art scene. Piazza Navona is in the heart of Rome. Most likely you won't miss this square if you are doing a walking tour with a map. But if your tour guide has a list of historic places to visit, you might want to add an hour of Piazza Navona into your schedule.

Piazza Navona is a square or junction connecting several roads. But the landscape has more than a couple central fountains in medieval Italian design, though these are the first to catch your attention. You can just sit at a outdoor cafe and enjoy the life passing by, which also happens to be my favorite daytime activity. The art scene is absolutely amazing, There are hundreds of artists trying to sell their art works for dirt cheap. 7 euros really sounds great to me for a tiny masterpiece. And I would happily suggest this as a souvenir instead of a mini Colosseum.
